Get to know Arlésio Coelho
Portugal Sports Camps is a sports travel agency under the steady and coordinated leadership of Arlésio Coelho. A dedicated man with a passion for anything to do with sports, Arlésio has been involved in sports since a very young age. Arlésio is a former football player (1986 - 2000), whose leadership skills and great attitude saw him being named captain of the team for many years during his youth footballing career.
His curiosity to learn further together with the passion he has for sports in general, easily guided him into finalizing his university degree in Sports Education (1998 – 2002) and a wealth of football coaching expertise, which be easily attested with a number of licenses and certifications, the latest being a UEFA Pro football license.
Arlésio has also been a devoted Physical Education teacher for the past 15 years in a variety of schools in region of the Algarve, in Portugal. While juggling his educational career, Arlésio has also been a football coach for the past 20 years and has recently also been part of the successful coaching staff that took Farense, the region’s biggest football club, back into the Portuguese 2nd League.
Amidst a busy life that is almost entirely devoted to football and sports in general, for the past 10 years, Arlésio has also been involved in coordinating travel and sports arrangements for a vast number of international football training camps in Portugal and Dubai.
His connections to a number of partners and sports people in general are second to none and the involvement he experienced with football in recent years also extended into the organization of tournaments.
Arlésio’s passion for sports and Portugal naturally led him into developing great interest in hosting training camps. Portugal Sports Camps aims therefore, to guide sports professionals and organizations into experiencing some of Europe’s best locations for training camps and sports events in general in a country that offers perfect weather conditions for sports to be enjoyed throughout the year.
