Football / soccer players on the u14 – u19 age groups.
What is a Youth Internship?
It is the opportunity for young aspiring football players to join a football academy in another country, allowing them to develop their individual skills by enjoying a different experience.
Our Program
In a partnership with the Portuguese Premier League professional football club Portimonense Sporting Club, we are delighted to welcome aspiring young football players from u14 to u19 age groups to join us for a Soccer Internship.
Besides its top-flight football team, Portimonense SC also boasts one of the best youth academies in Portugal. The project is coordinated in Canada by the True Players Athletics Academy and we are delighted to take part in what could be a soccer trial in Europe for you.
This is also a fantastic opportunity for young talents to experience a professional football team in Europe, as well to get closer to the action and the major football stadiums and matches in Europe.

This internship has a duration of 4 weeks and includes:
- Integration in all training sessions of your age group
- Full training kit - track suit, shorts, socks, ... everything except football boots
- Match tickets for first team and u23 games
- Full board accommodation
- An always available Tutor with coaching license
- Airport transfers from / to Faro Airport
